Jan Cortenbach – De Heus

Jan Cortenbach graduated in animal science in 1988 from Wageningen Agricultural University in the Netherlands. He then worked in different fields of animal production in Mexico, Yemen, Indonesia, Colombia, Hungary and his own country before moving to China in 1997 where he set up The SIDAC Training and Demonstration Centre before moving into the supply sector where he ultimately joined De Heus in 2005 where he was responsible for technical know-how transfer in feed production. Since 2016 he has been chief technical manager for De Heus China. Outside of work he holds the Dutch national records for 0 and 100 km walks and represented the Netherlands in the 1988 Olympics.
